Miss Whyard was born and raised in Grand Rapids, and absolutely loves the city and Michigan! She graduated in 2016 from Indiana Wesleyan University with highest honors and with a B.S. in Spanish Education. During college, she lived and studied in Sevilla, Spain for 4 months, and was able to return for a week in April of 2018! She’s also had opportunities to travel to Rome, London, Portugal, México, and Canada. She hopes to continue to travel and experience our wonderful world.
After graduating from college Miss Whyard taught middle school Spanish in Huntington, IN, but is happy to be teaching in her hometown. Other than teaching, some of Miss Whyard’s favorite things include coffee, reading, and cooking. Miss Whyard will be teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish 3 this year. She looks forward to another incredible year at WMAA! |
